Carrie McCrossen is an actor-writer-comedian-multi-hyphenate living in New York. She can be seen on HBO's “Divorce,” BET's “The Rundown with Robin Thede,” “Late Night Snack” on TruTV, and, suprisingly, “Star Talk with Neil DeGrasse Tyson”. She is a house performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and her solo show, M.I.L.P: Moms I’d Like to Portray ran at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2016. Her one-act All in Favor; a Meeting of the Beulah, North Dakota Town Council, which she wrote and starred in, also earned a run at UCB. She has appeared at Joe’s Pub, The Pearl, Ars Nova, Club Oberon, The Depot, and Geva. Carrie regularly pops up in your Facebook feed in sketch videos for Funny or Die, Above Average, College Humor, Flama, or MTV. Or on TV: TruTV or NatGeo. If you’re a Comcast subscriber, you might know her as the host of Xfinity On-Demand.  

 

Carrie is a published playwright with productions this year in Paris, Lima, and San Antonio. She’s written and produced videos for NickMom, iVillage and CH2, and is a regular contributor to FunnyorDie. Other credits include "For Maya", a short film, official selection HollyShorts, Nitehawk, High Falls and Brooklyn Comedy Festivals, Vimeo staff pick. Carrie’s pilot script, Subscribe Now, was a finalist for the 2016 Nantucket Film Festival Tony Cox Award, the Made in NY Writer’s Room fellowship, and a semifinalist for the Fox Writers Lab.
